The PTA will be running a tuck shop at the playground, 3.30-4.30pm, every Friday until the end of summer term (provided it's not raining).
In order to maintain this regular event, each week will be asking a single year group to volunteer to bake snacks and help to run the stall at the park, as follows:
Helping to bake snacks
We would like to include a variety of snacks on the stall, not just cakes that are full of sugar! This was highlighted by the parish council when they gave us permission to run the stall, and we were granted initial permission on probation.
So, if you would like to volunteer to bake snacks, please post on the relevant class WhatsApp groups, in order to ensure that we get a decent variety and amount of snacks.
Fairy cakes, Krispie cakes, flapjacks and cookies are ideal snacks as they readily split into suitable portion sizes.
Please make sure that everything you donate is nut free.
Helping to run the stall
Each week, we would also like a few parents from the 'baking' year group to volunteer to run the stall. Sam will get everything set up, so we just need people willing to stand at the stall for about 45 minutes, and then Sam will pack everything away again. Please use the relevant class WhatsApp group to discuss who will volunteer for this.
We don't have any fixed prices, but we do ask for a donation to the PTA, which can be cash or contactless payment.
