Summer Social 2018 - Friday 13th July - 3:30pm
Wow, what a great turnout! We hope adults and children had fun in the sun. Amazing prizes were won and a lot of burgers and hot dogs were eaten. The bounces on the two castles were endless and the hook-a-duck pool was used to cool kids down at the very end of our big event.
THANK YOU ALL!
A very big THANK YOU to all the supporters of the PTA.

... actively supporting our school
The Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) at Meridian Primary School is made up of parents, carers and staff, who meet regularly to plan the fundraising and social events that help to build and strengthen links between parents and carers, the school and the local community, as well as raising money to provide extra facilities and opportunities for our children.
We are a Registered Charity (No 1118780) as we have an annual income in excess of £5,000 and as such are registered with the Charity Commission. Being a Registered Charity gives us other benefits including being able to apply for Gift Aid, to raise funds from relevant grant giving trusts and local businesses and to take advantage of charity matched giving schemes.
The current members of the PTA Committee are:
The PTA meet every 6 to 8 weeks, generally on a Wednesday evening at 8.00pm at school. Meetings typically last for 1 to 2 hours and cover recently held events and upcoming activities that ultimately look to raise funds that can be invested back into the school.
Events that the PTA are involved with are frequently advertised using ParentMail (please contact Ann Webb at school reception to be added to ParentMail), on the school website or the PTA distribution list. To be added to the PTA distribution list, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Parents of children at Meridian Primary School are encouraged and welcome to attend.
