We invite your children to become member of School Orchestra - a part of this wonderful musical community.  Our School Orchestra is open to all Year 2 to 6 children who have been playing string instruments, woodwinds, brass and percussion instruments for over 1 year.

School Orchestra runs by our experienced peripatetic music teacher, Mrs Talbot.  She gives professional advice to our Orchestra children so that they could appreciate different music pieces and perform well on stage. 

The Orchestra is a fantastic opportunity for your child to develop their musical skills, improve their teamwork, and showcase their talents in a supportive environment.  They will have the chance to work with other musicians, learn new pieces, and perform at various school events and concerts throughout the year.

We welcome children who play a range of instruments including the piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion.  Whether your child is an experienced musician or just starting out, the Orchestra is a great place to explore their musical interests and make new friends.

If your child is interested in joining the Orchestra, please contact school office by email office@meridian.camb.sch.uk.  Rehearsals will take place weekly (Tuesday morning) from 8:20 to 8:55, and we will provide more information about our schedule and performances once we receive your registration.
