• School Carol Service at St.Mary's Church

  A Joyous last day to the end of term, all children walking to the local village Church, singing songs; a well written reflection by the school councillors. We were supported by the new vicar Rev. David Newton who led a thoughtful message.

  

• Festive Trip to Ely Cathedral

  The children in years 1 and 2 enjoyed an exciting day at Ely Cathedral yesterday. It was a busy time of craft and festive activities all laid on by the Cathedral staff.  

• The School Choir sing Carols at Burwash Manor

  The School Choir brought some Festive Sparkle to the Christmas event at Burwash Manor on Friday night. Despite the gloomy, cold, damp weather, the Choir sang Christmas carols beautifully to get everyone into a Festive mood. Thank you to Miss Sands and all the volunteer adults who helped with this event.

  

• The Meridian Choir excels

  Once again the Meridian Primary Choir gave a great performance, this time at the Burwash Christmas Fair, in Barton.  They were well supported by the recorder consort.  Both groups were skilfully and enthusiastically led by Mrs Sands.  Thank you to everyone who participated and all the parents who supported, listened attentively and transported all the singers.
