• Cambridgeshire hubs offer support to vulnerable families during half term

  After the government's decision not to continue to fund free school meals over the holidays - the County Council  is  reminding people in Cambridgeshire that there always has been and there still is support for those who need it.

  The County Council and District and City councils are issuing a  reminder to all those that are struggling to cope during this pandemic to make contact, and this includes families who may be struggling but are not eligible for free school meals –should contact the Countywide hub on  03450455219 

  District/City localities, supported by the countywide hub were set up to support people, whatever their needs might be due to the impact of the pandemic.  These localities will - as they have been for the last seven months - support people to access food and other supplies if they are struggling to provide for their families; and this will include those who are eligible for free school meals during the holidays.  Advice and guidance is also made available to ensure families are maximising their eligibility for other benefits.

   

• Mrs Millard Retires

  Once again our Harvest Festival was a great success with a good range of food and toiletries generously given by our families.  All of your donations have been passed to Jimmy's in Cambridge.  Thank you to everyone.
