This week was our anti bullying week focus. The children had lots of opportunity to talk about bullying and bullies in many different forms and to discuss strategies to help keep them safe.
The children all created hand prints with captions which will be displayed around the school as a reminder of our message to all 'no to bullying of any kind'.
Our Y6 children's writing will feature in our new anti-bullying policy.
Our thanks to Cambridge United coach Sam Carrington for leading a special assembly on anti-bullying this week.
Although our focus week has finished - all children were reminded that anti- bullying is all the time, in every week past, and to come.
Wow! Two Y6 teams competed in the county wide English challenge. the first heat against 17 other teams was held yesterday. Our two teams did extremely well!
We wait to hear if we are in the final with one of our teams who took second place in this heat!
