• Cake sale for cancer research

  A group of enterprising year 6 children have raised over £100 by baking cakes and selling them at the end of the school day on Monday. They would like the proceeds to go to cancer research. As our midday supervisor is still receiving on-going treatment, this is a cause close to our hearts. Thank you to Tia, Keira, Evie, Elyssa, Winnie and Emily - your cakes were delicious!

  

• What a Knight! What a Show!

  We were very pleased with the Year 3 and Year 4 performance of ‘What a Knight!’. The two classes have thoroughly enjoyed working as a team this half term. At every point of the play, they displayed confidence, energy and enthusiam! Well done to the teachers, teaching assistants and other staff members for the part you contributed in making the play a success. A special mention for Miss Sands who undertook the role of director and Ms Sam Scowen (Parent and PTA member) who made several costumes and resources.   Thank you to the PTA for supporting this event. You will be able to purchase a DVD of the performance from the PTA.

• Meridian team won their football match!

  Well done to the Year 5 and Year 6 football team, who played in the recent football match against Hardwick School. It was a strong team and Meridian won 6-3.
