Well done to the boys who played in the School football match against Hardwick Primary School this week. The 11 boys were an absolute credit to Meridian, not just in their performance but they were so polite and well behaved too as commented by a couple of teachers and parents from Hardwick. The game ended 3-2 to Hardwick but it was a brilliant game. Thank you to Alex Minei for arranging this and coaching the children.
The Year 3 children went on an exciting trip to Wimpole Hall to become Rangers for a day. The children took part in outdoor activities learning how the rangers look after the estate and getting their hands dirty while planting trees. They also learnt about the importance of trees and having biodiverse habitats. Every child got to dig some land and plant a tree. The children impressed the Wimpole leaders with their wildlife knowledge and were great Meridian ambassadors.
