Year 5 & 6 Play Leaders
Our Play Leaders are trusted role models who are responsible for planning and leading playground activities for Key Stage One and Two children. They work one lunchtime per week, ensuring that every child has a productive and enjoyable break time. In addition to organising playground games, Play Leaders also collaborate with House Captains to plan and run inter-house competitions, explaining rules and keeping score.
To become qualified Play Leaders, Year 5 and 6 candidates submitted a statement of interest. Our PE Lead, Miss Claudette Ramsay, selected the Play Leaders. The selected candidates then underwent a training session conducted by the South Cambridgeshire School Sports Partnership Play Leader Training Delivery Officer, Mrs Alison Osborne and our PE Lead, Miss Claudette Ramsay.
We are proud of our Play Leaders for their dedication and commitment to making our school a positive and enjoyable place for all.
