Our year Y5 and Y6 netball team played exceptionally well at the County Netball Final at Impington Village College on Wednesday afternoon. It was an achievement just to be in the final competition. All teams were highly competitive. Overall, they came 8th in the county. Well done Emily, Tia, Connie, Millie, Annie, Hannah, Connor and Rufus. |

Well done to our Y5 and Y6 players, who won 4-2 in the recent match against Barton C of E School which took place on Monday after school. Great play by all. A special mention to Ahrel, Joseph, Kyle and Stephan, our goal scorers! |

Our year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the tennis festival yesterday morning. Twelve schools took part, over 400 Y2 children! They were excellent ambassadors for the school. |

A group of enterprising year 6 children have raised over £100 by baking cakes and selling them at the end of the school day on Monday. They would like the proceeds to go to cancer research. As our midday supervisor is still receiving on-going treatment, this is a cause close to our hearts. Thank you to Tia, Keira, Evie, Elyssa, Winnie and Emily - your cakes were delicious! |

We were very pleased with the Year 3 and Year 4 performance of ‘What a Knight!’. The two classes have thoroughly enjoyed working as a team this half term. At every point of the play, they displayed confidence, energy and enthusiam! Well done to the teachers, teaching assistants and other staff members for the part you contributed in making the play a success. A special mention for Miss Sands who undertook the role of director and Ms Sam Scowen (Parent and PTA member) who made several costumes and resources.
Thank you to the PTA for supporting this event. You will be able to purchase a DVD of the performance from the PTA. |

Well done to all those year 3 and 4 children who took part in the Bikeability Level 1 training today. The children had a good time and enjoyed learning how to control and master their bikes. We are hoping that this will give them more confidence to ride more often and will give them all an increased understanding of road safety. |
Today we celebrated 50 years of the school and all dressed in 1960's style fashion. We had a lovely assembly followed by the unveiling of The Equation of Time made by one of our local villagers and a whole school flash mob to a 60's tune! The children spent the day in their house groups enjoying a range of sport, cookery, art and craft activities.... and we all enjoyed cake!
