Music Makers Steel Pan Orchestra
We are excited to introduce the Music Makers Steel Pan Orchestra for children in Years 4 to 6. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to experience the joy of music-making and develop their musical skills.
Music Makers Steel Pan Orchestra will meet once a week (Wednesday morning) from 8:20 to 8:55 in the music room, led by our experienced peripatetic music teacher, Mrs Talbot. The children will have the opportunity to learn how to play a variety of songs on the steel pan, including traditional Caribbean music, pop songs, and classical pieces.
Playing the steel pan is not only a fun and engaging activity but also a great way for your child to develop their coordination, teamwork, and self-expression skills. They will learn how to work with others in a group setting and develop their own unique musical voice.
